Terms of Service

1. Using Snaptagious

By creating an event or joining one as a guest, you agree to these terms. Hosts are responsible for the events they create and for informing guests that photos will be shared in a group gallery. If an event involves children, the host is responsible for obtaining any consent required to photograph and share images of them.

2. Acceptable use

Don't upload illegal content, child sexual abuse material, sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, or graphically violent content, or anyone else's personal images without their agreement. We use automated moderation to filter such content, and hosts can moderate their own galleries further. We remove content that breaks these rules or the law, may suspend accounts, and cooperate with law enforcement and report illegal content where legally required.

3. Reporting content & takedowns

If you believe content in a gallery is illegal or breaks these terms, report it using the “Report” control on a photo or by emailing report@snaptagious.com. Reported content is reviewed promptly; anything illegal or in breach is removed, and clearly illegal material is escalated to the relevant authorities. Hosts and their moderators can also remove any content from their own event at any time.

4. Payments, refunds & cancellations

Event packages and print orders are one-time payments processed by Stripe. Prices are shown in your local currency where supported, otherwise in USD.

Event packages come with a 14-day money-back guarantee. An event package is a digital service that starts as soon as you buy (your event and its features go live). If your guests haven't started uploading, you can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase — no questions asked — by emailing support@snaptagious.com. Once the service has been used (guests have begun adding photos or videos), refunds are at our discretion.

Photo books, prints and other print productsare made to order from your chosen photos and are personalised, so they are exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation right. If an item arrives faulty, damaged, or materially not as described, contact us within 14 days of delivery and we'll reprint or refund it.

None of this affects your statutory rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

5. Content ownership

Guests retain ownership of photos and videos they upload. By uploading, guests grant the event host a license to view, download, and share that content within the event gallery, and grant Snaptagious a license to store and process it in order to provide the service (including AI moderation).

6. Face matching

Face matching ("find every photo of you") is entirely opt-in per guest, for over-18s only, and used only within that guest's own event. The face data is processed in the UK and deleted when the gallery expires (and in any case within 12 months). You can delete it any time. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Host responsibility. We provide a control to turn face matching off for any event that may include under-18s. The host is responsible for using it correctly: by leaving face matching on, the host confirms the event is for adults (18+) and that they hold any consent required to photograph and share images of the people attending. Hosts must turn face matching off for events that may include minors.

7. Availability

We aim for high reliability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Galleries are retained for the duration stated in the purchased package, after which content is deleted.
